The FAKRO LoftLadder is a 3 or 4 part folding ladder. Its design and materials used, guarantee easy comfortable, and safe access to the loft. The quick fixing system enables the ladder to be easily installed by two people, and also enables easy ladder height adjustment.
Design
Normally a 36mm thick insulated hatch door is installed with all Fakro loft ladders. This hatch door is a pine woodframe, finished one each side with a white or beige HDF panel. The insulation coefficient is 1.1W/m. The outer side (visible when the door is closed) of the hatch door is smooth with no fixing points visible. A metal pole is supplied, this ensures easy closing of the hatch door. The ladder is fastened with angle brackets that enable the ladder to be positioned and fixed precisely. The unique opening mechanism is designed in such away that it does not hinder your access to the loft. An opening door spring mechanism is adjustable to suit personal preference. All ladders' hatch doors are fully edge sealed with a sealing strip to minimise heat loss. Treads are fitted using dovetail joints for added durability, safety grooves are cut into the treads to prevent slipping.
Size
We stock a 3 section Fakro loft ladder, aperture opening 600mm X 1200mm, this particular ladder will extend to a maximum of 2700mm, other sizes are also available to order.
