Timber


Structural Timber:
We only stock the very best quality regularised graded C16 & C24 structural timber, which is sourced from Sweden & Germany. Hancock & Brown has a reputation built on offering only the finest timber, and due to us carrying the largest stock in Swansea including treated timber, we can supply a customers requirements easily. Lengths available from our yard are up to 7.2mts long, and any dimension you require.

Planed Timber & Mouldings:
Hancock & Brown has the largest stock and range of planed timber and mouldings in Swansea, the majority of which (95%) is superb quality Swedish redwood in both 5ths and unsorted, we also keep a small quantity of the lesser quality whitewood PSE to satisfy certain applications.

 


Mouldings are available in all sizes and all types, ranging
from skirting boards to fine detailed mouldings for achieving a perfect finish.

 

  

Hardwood:
For the customer who requires hardwood we keep Meranti and Oak, in square sections and mouldings,  plus  Keruing which is available in ½ lap.

Cedar is also available to order, and is a very popular cladding material due to its stability and longevity.
Fencing:
Featheredge is the best option if you are constructing a timber fence where strength is a priority, with proper care your fence will outlast any other form of timber fencing. We stock treated featheredge in both 150mm wide and 125mm and in the following lengths 1.5mts, 1.8mts, 2.1mts, 2.4mts, 3.0mts and 3.6mts, so we are sure to have the fencing available when it is required.

We also keep every size treated fence post you may require, in 75x75, 100x100, and 150x150 available in lengths from 1.8mts to 3.6mts.
